I am married to my wonderful husband, Mario, and have a 3-year-old son named Jax. Spending time with family and friends is my favorite past time.
In terms of my career journey, I've always been drawn to Education. This passion led me to pursue a master’s degree in special education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Superintendency. I am in my 19th year in the field of education and have held the role of Teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Special Education, and Associate Superintendent. Throughout the years I have worked as an educator in different states and even abroad for the Department of Defense.
However, what truly brings me joy and fulfillment is the role I currently hold. Being the Director of Membership for the KASA and working with Leadership Development enables me to fulfill my passion of supporting educational leaders and it allows me to make a meaningful impact on the success of students and schools across the Commonwealth.
