Matt Robbins retired as Superintendent of the Daviess County Public Schools in August 2024 after serving 7 years in that position. Prior to this, Matt served as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations with the Daviess County Public Schools from 2004 to 2017.
Matt earned his Masters Degree in Education Administration and Supt. Certification from the University of Louisville in June 2013. Matt has a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and received his CPA certificate in November 1993. Matt worked as a CPA for the Owensboro accounting firm of Riney, Hancock & Co, CPA’s. He completed the UK/Gatton School Finance Institute in 2001. Matt has served on the Board of the KASBO (Kentucky Association of School Business Administrators) and KASS.
He and his wife, Luanne, have three children, Olivia, Lily Grace, and Brady.
