Most recently, I have served as Assistant Superintendent and Chief Operation Officer of the Whitley County School District. In this capacity I have had the opportunity to maintain the physical plants owned by the district and its athletics programs. Other district programs that fall under my supervision as Chief Operations officer include; Food Services, Human Resource Department, Technology Department, District Pupil Personnel, and Transportation.
I have also spent five years as the instructional and building leader of Whitley Central Intermediate School. As principal my primary focus was continuous academic improvement for all students. Prior to serving as principal I was a teacher for nine years in the Whitley County School District.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy family camping trips along with attending my 13 year old sons baseball games and my 6 year old daughters dance recitals.
