Invest in Yourself this Summer

There’s a lingering myth about the nature of summer as it applies to educators; i.e., that it is a time for showing up to work late, leaving early, and doing little in between.

But to a school leader who has just wrapped up one year and is already facing a lengthy “to-do” list for the upcoming year, this scenario is truly a myth. Hiring, budgeting, staffing and planning are just the beginning of summer duties.

That’s why it’s critical to take some time to clear your mind, recharge your batteries, hear some new ideas, and even relax a little. And what better way to accomplish all of these things than to attend the annual KASA Annual Leadership Institute, July 15-17, at the Galt House in Louisville?

More than 1000 school leaders will take this opportunity to grow professionally, while at the same time enjoying camaraderie of colleagues, and even “borrowing” a few good ideas from them along the way. With energizing keynotes and thought-provoking breakout sessions, the leadership institute is the perfect prescription for that “too-busy” summer that will be over before you know it.

Don’t miss this chance to invest in yourself. Register now for Kentucky’s premiere event for school leaders.
