Professional Information
1. I am beginning my 26th year in education, including 2 years as an elementary principal, 10 years as a high school principal and 5 years as DPP.
2. I've spent the majority of my career in Edmonson County, with one year in Warren County as a teacher (my first year) and two years in Grayson County as an elementary principal.
3. I have also served as an assistant principal at the high school level, and coached in various capacities including head football coach, assistant girl's basketball coach and boy's middle school basketball coach.
PERSONAL
1. My wife, Lori, is a college professor in the field of nursing and teaches at Western Kentucky University and Vanderbilt University. We have a blended family of four children. Jared (26) and Will (15) as well as Blake (17) and Emma-Claire (13).
2. I have attended Campbellsville University and Western Kentucky University, where I received my BS and MA, as well as Principal and DPP Certifications. I attended the University of Kentucky for Supt. Certification
3. We have a large farm where we raise cattle and I train quarter horses. I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my family, whether at home or traveling.
