I am entering my first year as a Superintendent at Walton-Verona Independent. I have had the honor of serving previously as a teacher, coach, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, Instructional Supervisor, and Director of District-Wide Services. I have been active in KASA, serving on multiple committees, as well as serving on AdvancED accreditation committees. I have degrees from the University of Kentucky (BA & MA) as well as Morehead State University (MA & Ed.D.)
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and physical fitness. My wife, Anne, is a pharmacist and we recently celebrated our 20th anniversary. We have known each other our entire lives, and actually used to hide behind a bush and kiss in elementary school during recess. We have two children Mackenzie (17) and Dane (14). I am also a huge Game of Thrones fan.
