Bio

Mrs. Teresa Morgan is the Superintendent of Hardin County Schools. She has 27 years of experience in education, all dedicated to the Hardin County School District. She is passionate that all decisions are student centered.

Her educational career began in 1989 as a special education teacher at Vine Grove Elementary School and included time as an intermediate teacher. In 1997, she accepted a primary teaching position at Woodland Elementary School. In August of 2000, she was hired to be Woodland’s assistant principal. Three years later, she became the principal at Woodland and served in that capacity for eight years.

Before starting in her current position in 2011 she began serving as the HCS Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. In this capacity she had the opportunity to work with all the schools in the district.

Mrs. Morgan is a 1989 graduate of Brescia College. She earned her Master’s of Education Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1994. She obtained her Principal Certification in 1997 and her Superintendent Certification in 2014 from WKU.

Mrs. Morgan is married to C. H. Morgan and has three sons – Alexander, Christopher and Nathaniel.
