•Geneva A Stark, Ph.D. Human Resource Specialist--
District Coordinator for Kentucky Teacher Internship Program (KTIP), Jefferson County
Stark has been in education in Jefferson County for more than 20 years. She has served in various administrative roles including that of Human Resources Specialist, Principal, and Assistant Principal. Previously, the former track and field All-American taught health and physical education, was a track and field coach and also taught Adapted Physical Education in New Orleans. She served as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Southeast University and Spalding University. She has served on several dissertation committees at Spalding University. Stark completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Louisville and holds a Professional Certificate for Instructional Leadership-School Superintendent. She is the former president of the Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals (KASSP), former president of Greater Louisville Alliance of Black School Educators (GLABSE), and serves as the Southeast Regional Representative of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE). She also volunteers with the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP).
