  • Deeper Learning Information for Monday March 5, 2018

    The Deeper Instruction for Deeper Learning event with Ron Berger, is being held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville. The address is 140 N. Fourth Street, Louisville, KY, 40202.

    Ron is the chief academic officer for EL Education, a nonprofit school improvement organization, and teaches at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ron was also a public-school teacher for over 25 years.

    Planning for this session:

    • Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. ET. The session will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET.

    • The session will be held in the Fountain Room located on the second floor in the RIVUE Tower.

    • A light breakfast and refreshments will be provided; lunch will be on your own. The Galt House has arranged for quick meal options at Café Magnolia and Thelma’s Restaurant.

    • All materials and up to six hours EILA credit are included.

    • Two of Ron Berger’s books will be available for purchase onsite (in limited quantities):

    • Parking is available in the parking garage of the Galt House Hotel. Flooding issues to be minimal by Monday.

    • If road conditions do not improve or worsen, the Third Street exit might be closed. If it is closed, you may take the Ninth Street Exit and come back around to the hotel by way of Jefferson Street.
